HOUSE PHYSICIAN STAFFING MODELS

PSI's House Physician Staffing Model for house physician coverage provides house staff programs and house physician coverage for hospitals and healthcare facilities. We provide house physician coverage to hospitals and healthcare facilities in Cleveland, Akron, and other Northeastern Ohio cities. We also offer these services in Central Ohio and other states including Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, and Michigan.

The scheduling of the service will be managed to assure proper staffing levels at all times.  All of the independent contractor clinicians supplied by PSI will be sensitive to the concerns of the hospital staff physicians in regards to the handling and treatment of the attending physicians’ private patients.

PSI will prepare monthly schedules for the House Physicians and will insure they are provided to the hospital on a timely basis.  Physician Staffing will be responsible for insuring all shifts are full and any cancellations are quickly filled.  If an unexpected vacancy occurs Physician Staffing can draw from our pool of physicians to resolve the vacancy. Printed schedules will be provided to the hospital approximately one week prior to the first day of the month.
